Jacklyn Rosen assumed office in the U.S. Senate on Jan. 3, 2019. Previously, Rosen served in the U.S. House of Representatives for Nevada's 3rd congressional district from 2017 to 2019.

Rosen was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in psychology in 1979. She has worked as a computer programmer, software developer, and designer for Summa Corporation, Citibank and Southwest Gas Company. From 2013 to 2016, Rosen was president of Congregation Ner Tamid, the largest Jewish reform synagogue in Las Vegas Valley.
