Biography

Stacey Evans was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives for District 57 in 2020. She previously served in the Georgia House from 2011 to 2017. She was a Democratic candidate for governor of Georgia in 2018, losing in the primary. 

Evans was born in 1978 in Ringgold, Georgia. She received both her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia, and then founded her own law firm, SG Evans Law LLC. 

Evans has spent much of her political career fighting for the HOPE Scholarship in Georgia.
