Jenny Beth Martin is the co-founder and national coordinator of the Tea Party Patriots and a columnist for The Washington Times. She is also the co-author of "Tea Party Patriots: The Second American Revolution."

Martin was born on July 2, 1970, in Georgia. She attended Reindhardt College before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Georgia.

In February 2009, Martin organized a Tea Party protest in Atlanta after hearing CNBC commentator Rick Santelli challenging Chicago to make a 1773, Boston-style response to the health care plan. Martin founded and is now CEO of Tea Party Patriots.
