March for Our Lives was a student-led demonstration in support of tighter gun control that took place on March 24, 2018, in Washington, D.C., with over 800 corresponding events across the United States and around the world. Since then, organizers have continued to advocate for tighter regulations to prevent gun violence.

The March 2018 event followed the February 14, 2018, shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Student organizers from Never Again MSD (#NeverAgain), an organization founded by a group of students from the school in the days following the shooting, planned the march in collaboration with the nonprofit organization Everytown for Gun Safety.

Estimates of participation at the main March for Our Lives event in Washington, D.C., range from 200,000 to 800,000, among the biggest youth-led protests since the Vietnam War. Overall, participation in events at all locations was estimated at 1.2 to 2 million, making it the largest student protest in American history.
