Kim Schrier assumed office as U.S. representative for Washington state's 8th Congressional District on Jan. 3, 2019.
Schrier received her Bachelor of Arts degree in astrophysics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1991 and her M.D. from the University of California, Davis in 1997. She has been a pediatrician since 2002.
