Biography

Jess Phoenix, a geologist and the founder and executive of Blueprint Earth, was a candidate for California’s 25th district in the 2018 elections. She lost in the primaries. Born in 1982, Phoenix earned her Bachelor of Arts in history from Smith College in 2005 and her Master of Science in geology from California State University at Los Angeles in 2010.
