Gloria Negrete McLeod is a representative of California's Area 5 on the Chaffey Community College District Governing Board. Formerly she served as the U.S. Representative for California's 35th Congressional District from 2013 to 2015.

Negrete McLeod was born in Los Angeles, California, on September 6, 1941. She received her associate's degree from Chaffey Community College. Before being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, she served as the president of the Chaffey Community College Board and was a board member for five years before being elected to the State Legislature. From 2000 to 2006 she represented the 61st District in the State Assembly. She then served as a state senator for California's 35th District.
