Biography

Christina Grigorian was a 2018 Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate for Maryland, losing in the primary. 

Grigorian was born in Towson, Maryland, and was raised in Baltimore. She attended George Washington University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 1990 and a master’s degree in education in 1992. She earned her J.D. at the University of Maryland School of Law in 1996. 

She began her political career after college when she worked in the White House Office of Counsel to the President under George H.W. Bush. During law school, she worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons regional legal office and interned for a federal judge for the U.S. District Court of Maryland. She is an attorney with Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.
