Debt - Apr. 22, 2014

STEFANIK: I'm Elise Stefanik. In the next 60 seconds, our national debt will increase over 3 million dollars. Today, every man, woman, and child owes more than $55,000 towards the debt, while President Obama has done nothing to control our spending. My generation? We are stuck with the bill.

It's just one of the reasons why I’m running for Congress. We need new conservative ideas and fresh voices to take on the debt crisis, fix our economy, and create jobs. Cutting spending and getting our budget under control isn't easy, but then that's what leadership is all about. Making the tough decisions, the right decisions, not always the popular ones. That's the kind of representative I intend to be, and I'll work with anyone to get it done.
