TRAN: My name is Mai Khanh Tran. I came to California as a refugee. I spent my childhood picking berries along hard-working migrant families and studying as hard as I could. I worked my way through Harvard as a janitor, and for the past quarter century, I’ve served Orange County citizens as a pediatrician, treating vulnerable populations. My passion is service.
