My Brother Bob - May 20, 2008

PINGREE: When my brother Bob was diagnosed, he fought two battles—with the insurance company and his cancer. Bob died 14 months later with the guilt of knowing his wife and child were left with nothing. But my family is not unique. We saw firsthand how broken the system really is. That's why in the Maine Senate I stood up to the big drug and insurance companies to lower costs.
