ONDREA: I think our first ‘love you’s’ were within two weeks. Kind of felt like a perfect love story. More than anything, I've always wanted to be a mother. Our prayers were answered when we found out that I was pregnant, and we were just happy. At 16 weeks, my water broke while I was at work. That moment is something that changed the course of my life. I was told that my baby would have no chance of survival. I had lost all my amniotic fluid, and I was high-risk for infection. Because I live in Texas, I was denied the abortion care that I needed despite being told that my daughter would not survive. I was terrified, and I just had to wait. My daughter, Emery Jay, she passed away.

I do feel like I was robbed a chance to grieve my daughter because immediately after her birth, I was in the worst pain of my life. I developed a massive septic infection, and I went from burying my daughter to fighting for my life. I felt like I'm not going to get to say goodbye, and I remember thinking just, “God allow me to be peaceful when I go.”

DONALD TRUMP: First of all, I'm the one that got rid of Roe v. Wade, and I'm proud to have done it.

REPORTER: Do you believe in punishment for abortion?

TRUMP: There has to be some form of punishment.

REPORTER: For the woman?

TRUMP: Yeah.

ONDREA: He did this to me. It almost cost me my life, and it will affect me for the rest of my life. Even though my wound is physically closed now, there's a lot of parts of me that still feel open.

CEASER: And now we may never, ever be able to get pregnant again.

ONDREA: This only happened to me because Roe versus Wade was overturned. I almost died because I was denied a medical abortion.

CEASER: Should have never happened, you know?

ONDREA: If these laws continue, it will cost more lives. We must elect Kamala Harris. Otherwise, what happened to me will happen to even more women across this country.
