CARRIE JACKSON: A few years ago we found out our 18-year-old son had cancer. Randy Hultgren had a chance to protect people with pre-existing conditions like our son, and he failed us. And that's when all my activism started. It's not just about politics, it's not about Republican and Democrat – it's about the lack of humanity that's being shown, The lack of common decency.
