ORTIZ JONES: I wouldn't be here today without an ROTC scholarship that gave me the opportunity to go to college, so when I hear that Will Hurd voted to cut funds that enables students who need it most to attend college or trade school and have an opportunity at a better life, I knew I had a responsibility to our community to fix it.
