WOMAN: I'm just wondering what your thoughts are on taking care of someone with a chronic illness.

MANNING: Both parties bear the blame for not being willing to stand up to the big pharmaceutical companies or their lobbyists. The goal should be, how do we make healthcare more affordable and how we bring down the outrageous cost of prescription drugs? We need to do everything we can to protect people who have pre-existing conditions to make sure that they can get the health insurance that they need. I'm Kathy Manning and I approve this message.
