Paid Family Leave is Not a Vacation - October 7, 2018

SUPPORTERS: My son has cerebral palsy and he needs me. My husband had brain cancer. I needed to be there for him. It was rough. Julia had to go right back to work after our baby was born. Families like mine need paid medical leave.

REPORTER: Sununu called paid leave which is intended to be used for the birth of a child or a family medical emergency “vacation.”

SUPPORTERS: Taking care of my baby is not a vacation. Sununu stopped medical family leave from becoming law. When your family needs you, you have to be there. We need a governor who understands families, like Molly Kelly.
