ORTIZ JONES: While I fought in Iraq, my mother was fighting a different battle here at home. She didn't tell me until I returned, but she'd been diagnosed with cancer. So after I served our country in the Air Force, I came home to take care of mom. I'm Gina Ortiz Jones. I'm a veteran, I approve this message and I'm running for Congress because every mother, every family, every child deserves health care that protects them like it protected my mom.
