McMorris Rodgers: In the midst of everything that's happening in Congress, I did get two bills signed by the president with bipartisan support. One on micro power, one on pediatric research, two of a handful of bills that the president has signed proving that I can take a stance and also work across the aisle to get things done.
What drives me though has always been the people of Eastern Washington. That's what inspires me, that's what makes me want to work harder. It is to protect your freedom.
It is to protect the ability you have to make the best decisions for yourselves and your families. That's what's most important.
