On the campaign trail - Sept. 10, 2015

DUCKWORTH: When I travel the great state of Illinois, I will stand shoulder to shoulder with our friends and our family members and labor because you are the ones who made the middle class in this great nation.

We have got to fight this move in the state to go after hard-working people.

I am running for the Senate to make sure I stand up for the hard-working families in this state and in this country.

The America that I love says we help each other, we survive, we are stronger nation for it, we are stronger nation when each one of us gets to live up to our fullest potential and contribute back to this nation.

I learned one important thing in the Army. You don't leave a buddy behind. Snd as long as I'm your senator, as long as I'm here, I would never leave another American behind because we are all better when all Americans are lifted up.
