ANNOUNCER: Central Coast newspapers endorse Lois Capps. The Star calls Lois "thoughtful" and "bipartisan," saying Maldonado "failed to make a compelling argument." The Independent says Lois "works exceedingly hard" and "gets things done," calling Maldonado "equivocal in the extreme." The Tribune, a paper that previously supported Maldonado, now endorses Lois Capps, saying she's "consistently strong," "effective," the candidate who will act to "benefit all her constituents."
