DUCKWORTH: I'm running for the United States Senate to put Illinois' communities and families first, to try and make a real difference and ensure a better future for our children. I believe that the Senate could use someone with my perspective and experience as we continue to build a more perfect union – a union that benefits all of her citizens. I believe that together we can build an America that is strong from the ground up.
