Nella Domenici was the Republican nominee in the 2024 election to represent New Mexico in the U.S. Senate, losing to incumbent Martin Heinrich in the general election.

Domenici was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is the daughter of Pete Domenici, New Mexico’s longest-serving senator. Domenici earned a bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University, before earning a master’s degree from Harvard Business School. She began her career working in finance, working up to serve as chief financial officer of Bridgewater Associates from 2020-2021. In 2023, Domenici became a board member of Cognizant, an information technology company.

In 2024, Domenici announced her intention to run for U.S. Senate.
