Laurie Buckhout

Laurie Buckhout is a Republican Nominee for North Carolina’s 1st U.S. Congressional District.

Buckhout was born in Virginia. She attended James Madison University on an ROTC scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Buckhout served in the U.S. Army for 28 years before retiring. She also earned a Master of Military Arts and Sciences Degree and a Master of Science degree from Webster University. She is the founder of Corvus Consulting, a publicly traded military contracting and consulting firm.

This is her first campaign for political office.
