Biography

Erin Cruz was the 2020 Republican nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives for California's 36th congressional district, losing to incumbent Raul Ruiz. Cruz was a 2018 Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate for California, losing in the primary. 

Cruz was born in Modjeska, California, where she also grew up. She began her professional career in the private sector in 1999, but left this to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in human resource specialist at the University of California, San Diego. 

After graduation in 2008, Cruz began her career as a political activist, promoting organizations like the House Rabbit Society and promoting her own personal brand. She published her book, Revolution America, in 2014 and hosts her own show, The Erin Cruz Show.
