Biography
Andria Tupola has been a member of the Honolulu City Council since January 2021. Tupola served in the Hawaii House of Representatives from 2014 to 2018. She was the 2018 Republican nominee for governor of Hawaii.
Tupola was born December 6, 1980, in Kahuku, Hawaii. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in music education from Brigham Young University in 2005, a Master of Arts in music education from the University of Hawaii, Manoa in 2011, and a Ph.D in music education at the University of Hawaii, Manoa.
Tupola served as the minority floor leader in the Hawaii House of Representatives in 2015, and served as the minority leader from 2017 to 2018.
