I voted to help middle-class families with troubled mortgages, extend unemployment assistance for job seekers and raise the minimum wage. I brought millions in federal funding to clean the Miami River, to modernize the port and improve the security at our airport. To help our youth succeed in this global economy, I have helped our schools obtain needed resources. To stop skyrocketing insurance rates, I voted for a national catastrophe fund. And I will continue fighting to guarantee that your Social Security and Medicare benefits are protected from fraud.
