"That's our gal" - April 17, 2016

MAN: I was actually thrilled when you recently urged the Supreme Court to rule in favor of marriage equality, I was like, "That's our gal! Yes!", so thank you for that. My then partner and I, back in the late 80s, adopted a little girl because she had a really rough upbringing. They told us, "Don't expect her to ever finish high school, she doesn't have the capabilities." She has a bachelor's degree and teaches here in Council Bluffs. So, I'm really proud of her.
