Thank you. Thank you. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. When I announced this campaign, I said that we were one election away from becoming Massachusetts, well guess what? Not on my watch. What an incredible victory, and it’s not my victory, it’s our victory. I want to thank every single one of you who are here, I want to thank everyone who’s watching at home. You know, all the people that went out and worked for me, you know, stood at the polls, talked to the voters. And I want to thank the voters for taking the time to listen to me when I came up to you at the fairs and the festivals, and you know, to your door, you were all so wonderful and gracious, and I’m just so grateful for all of you, so thank you so, so much. Thanks, guys.

I want to thank so much the people standing behind me, and I also see my stepfather in the audience, I want to thank him, too. I want to thank my family, who have done so much for me, and you know, I have an incredible family, and you know, without family you can’t do anything. So, I’m here with my mother, and I see my father, and then I also see my aunts and my uncles, and I have to say, my son Jake. I have to say that my son Jake, he’s fire, he’s very fire. And you know, our daughter Kate is not here tonight. She’s in Colorado Spring at the United States Air Force Academy. And of course, I have to thank my wingman. Not only is Joe the best wingman you could ask for, but he’s also the star of my commercials. And for all of you out there in the audience, I want you to know he snores louder than me.

You know, I want to thank Joyce Craig for running a very good and spirited campaign, I was very—thank you, Joyce. Not too long ago, I received a very gracious call from Joyce Craig, and I am so appreciative of that. That is very much the New Hampshire way.

Our state has so much to be proud of. We are unique in so many ways. And tonight’s victory is a victory for New Hampshire, but it’s also a victory for an even brighter future for the greatest state in the nation. But there’s an important guy in this room. I like to call him the 603 guy, and I can tell you, we would not be here tonight if it weren’t for Governor Sununu. Where are you, Governor? All right, Governor, thank you. So, I want to thank Governor Sununu, first of all, for his amazing service to our state over the last eight years, and for keeping New Hampshire in such a strong place, we’re leading the nation in so many ways. And of course, we need to wish Governor Sununu happy birthday.

(Sings happy birthday)

He’s still younger than me. You know, we’ve been in such a great position under Governor Sununu’s leadership, but you know what, we’re not going to be content to rest on the successes of Governor Sununu and what he has brought to our state. There are very real challenges that we need to work together on to keep our great state moving in the right direction. Together, we will work to tackle this housing crisis. Together, we will work to strengthen our mental health system. Together, we will work to make sure that New Hampshire remains a great place to raise a family, we’ll back up our teachers, and we’ll continue to improve education for all of our students.

I could not be more optimistic about the future of our state. I love this state, and I love the people of this state. And I know that our best days are ahead of us in New Hampshire. But before we get to celebrating this victory tonight with all of you, and again I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, I want to take a moment to speak to the voters who didn’t vote for me tonight. This was a hard-fought election, and with strong opinions on both sides. I want you to know that I will be the governor for all the people of New Hampshire. And please know this: even if there are time where we don’t see eye to eye, I will always look for ways for us to come together, to work together on a bipartisan basis, to tackle the challenges facing this state, because New Hampshire is so much more important than one person, one party. We have a wonderful, beautiful, great state, and I look forward to bringing all of us together to make our great state even better.

So, all I have to leave with is it’s time to have some fun. So let’s go celebrate this victory tonight, and I look forward to getting to work tomorrow for the people of New Hampshire. May God bless New Hampshire, may God bless this great nation.
