Graduation Rate - Oct. 13, 2020

STRICKLAND: When I became mayor of Tacoma, our city was struggling. But the worst part: only 55% of our students were graduating high school.

MAN 1: Marilyn Strickland brought our community together: business leaders, teachers.

WOMAN 1: Parents, community groups.

WOMAN 2: And inspired everyone.

MAN 2: Today, 89% of Tacoma students graduate.
