LAKE: The stakes have never been higher to save our country and save our state. I think it was about six decades ago that Ronald Reagan came on the political scene, and they accused him; the media attacked him, they said what—wait a minute, he's an actor, he's a former Democrat.

Guess what? Turns out he was a man of deep conviction, unwavering principles, a love for this country unlike anybody has seen. He transcended Hollywood, he was strong and stable, and the spirit of the American people was the envy of the entire world. The Reagan Revolution showed us that truly outsiders and citizens can shake up the status quo and deliver real tangible results for the American people.
