I Know What It's Like to Struggle - Sept. 27, 2022

APRIL BECKER:

I was a single mom and worked as a waitress and bartender.

I saved money, took college classes when I could, and at 39, I graduated law school.

It was a struggle to get there, but it was worth it. Because now I’m able to help people who are struggling just like I was.

I’m running for congress because our representatives don’t understand us. They're completely disconnected from our reality.

I’m April Becker, and I approve this message because, in congress, I’ll never forget where I came from.
