Another new commercial congress from California is charting an outspoken course too. Republican Representative Mike Garcia has been an outspoken critic of President Joe Biden and embraces former President Donald Trump.

MIKE GARCIA:

I believe in the constitution, I run on loyalty to the constitution above all things.

NEWS ANCHOR:

Following the violence on Capitol Hill, several Republicans chose to stand their ground and reject the Electoral College results. They include Mike Garcia.

SECOND NEWS ANCHOR:

Garcia says he happily voted for Trump last year and thinks Biden should resign.

MIKE GARCIA:

I would support President Trump if he ran again and he was the party nominee.

So, that’s my opponent, Mika Garcia in his own words, saying he’s still loyal to twice impeached, insurrection starting, big lie telling Donald Trump.
