Capping the Cost of Insulin - June 24, 2020

GIDEON: This is a vial of insulin. For Mainers with diabetes, it could mean the difference between life and death. But for drug companies, this means billions, which is why they increase the cost again and again. In Washington, drug companies spend millions and continue to get their way. But here in Maine, I'm proud to have written the law making us one of the first states in America to cap the cost of insulin.
