HINSON: I decided to leave journalism because I got tired of talking about problems and instead wanted to work on solving those problems. As transportation chair, we were able to pass 20 bills out of our committee that were bipartisan bills. And especially right now when you talk about all the chaos and dysfunction in Washington D.C. and not being able to get things done, we got things done in a bipartisan way and that's exactly how it should be.
