GIDEON: Last year drug companies spent $280 million dollars influencing Congress, hiring 1,400 lobbyists to make sure you pay more for your medicine. I'm Sarah Gideon, and as Washington fails, in Maine we did something about it. Cracking down on companies who jack up prices, expanding access to generics and taking steps to allow drugs to be imported from Canada. I'll be a senator who works for you, not the drug companies.
