Tribute to Dr. Jernagin

It is a real pleasure to join the Ministers of Baltimore and Washington in paying tribute to a minister of the Gospel, who is always all-out for anybody who is doing anything worth while.

Dr. W. H. Jernagin is one of God’s noblemen – a wise counselor and a dependable, ubiquitous public servant. He is everywhere – on time or just coming in from another engagement. He specializes in the wholly impossible. He enjoys living in the midst of all of the important conflicts and challenges of his day, and in leading men on to tackle them without fear or compromise. He leads along the rugged way, where only brave, self-sacrificing men travel.

I bring greetings to you, Dr. Jernagin, from the Board of Trustees, Faculty and Student body of the National Trade and Professional School for Women and Girls. May God give you many more years to win added laurels in the new social order that is now in the making.

Nannie. H. Burroughs.
