FRANZEN: My name is Rob Franzen. I served eight years in the United States Air Force. I was down in Texas and I had a stroke and the VA location said they wouldn't take me.

REYNOLDS: My son was laying in a bed dying and Cathy McMorris Rogers got my son into the Spokane veteran's home.

FRANZEN: All she saw was a veteran in need and pushed and shoved and did what it took.

REYNOLDS: Cathy threw everything into it. I can't thank her enough.
