JOSH HOLT: I went to Venezuela to marry my wife, Tammy, and that's when we were held hostage by the government of Venezuela.

LAURIE HOLT: I didn't know if he was safe. I didn't know if he was alive. I think only a mother and a father would understand that fear when your child is taken.

JOSH HOLT: I was locked in my cell 24/7.

LAURIE HOLT: I thought, "How are we gonna get him home?" Mia Love said, "I will not let you down, and I'm here with you as a mother." It was a continual fight day after day, and she never gave up. She just said, "I got your back and I will until we get him home." And when he came through the door, it just didn't seem real.

REPORTER: Home sweet home. Family, friends, neighbors of Joshua Holt – overjoyed.

JOSH HOLT: The nightmare was finally over.

LAURIE HOLT: Mia is definitely one that gets results. You could not pick a better person than Mia Love to be your congresswoman.

JOSH HOLT: There's nothing I could ever do to thank her for all she's done for me.

LOVE: I'm Mia Love and I approve this message.
