WILLIAMS: I'm Kathleen Williams and I approve this message.

LYNDA SAUL: Tom was the love of Kathleen William's life. They were married in the state capital. They were devoted to each other and just perfect together. But a couple years ago Kathleen called and told me that Tom had collapsed and had died. And she was….

WILLIAMS: I was devastated. My world fell apart.

SAUL: I dropped everything and went to be with Kathleen. Her friends and neighbors rallied around. We were there for Kathleen, because Kathleen has always been there for us.

WILLIAMS: What Lynda did was pure Montana. She was there for me and she still is. That's just what Montanans do.

SAUL: Kathleen has faced challenges, but she's always overcome them. I think that's what drives her to help other people. She understands what they're going through and she's willing to put herself on the line for others. We all need someone like that in our lives. We all need someone like that in Congress.

WILLIAMS: Being there for people – that's the whole point of public service and that's why I'm running for Congress.
