A Big Task - July 18, 2018

Opioids and border security in Arizona…is a big task and lawmakers spent the day trying to find solutions.
McSally convened a congressional subcommittee hearing Wednesday in Phoenix.

MCSALLY: A hundred and fifteen Americans die every single day from an opioid overdose. A lot of these drugs are coming through the ports of entry on people or in deeply concealed compartments that are very difficult to detect. We've got to do more in order to detect it and stop it, but we've got to have access to holistic treatment, wraparound services, prevention, education and all those things.
