I'm Tina - June 8, 2018

SMITH: Hi I'm Tina Smith. I started visiting people all over Minnesota when I was lieutenant governor. Having that job was like being invited into people's living rooms: you meet a lot of people, you meet a lot of dogs, you eat a lot of donuts, but mostly you hear about people's lives. You know I've found that when I really listen to people I can better understand what they're going through day to day and see how I can make a difference. I'm here to solve problems and I'll work with anyone, even if we disagree to help all Minnesotans have the freedom to live the kind of lives they want to live. That idea of opportunity for everyone, that's a Minnesota value. My mother and father taught me that everybody is the same, everybody ought to be treated with dignity and respect. That's what I want for all Minnesotans and their families. I'm Tina Smith and I approve this message.
