GRAHAM: Hi everyone, I am here with Representative Jacobs, and we have had a phenomenal day today learning about challenges that our state faces from climate change. Climate change is real, it's a reality, it's not just a threat. We're dealing with it today. It's way past time that the state government in Tallahassee addresses what is the greatest challenge that Florida faces. We are a peninsula; we're surrounded by water on all sides so the fact that rising sea level and climate change is affecting our coastal communities and our inland communities as well is something that, as governor, with your help, I look forward to taking on and addressing and developing that comprehensive plan that will make sure that this beautiful Florida that we see is a state that we can all live in and enjoy far into the future. The future of Florida depends on the decisions that are being made today, so I look forward to working with you to make sure that the state that we love and all that Florida provides for all of our citizens is protected for the future.
