We Need A Fighter In Congress - May 5, 2014

Adams: Hi, I'm Alma Adams and on Tuesday May 6, I’m asking for your vote for Congress. I've spent my whole life as a fighter for this community—as a teacher, as the first African-American woman elected to the school board and for the last two decades as your voice in the General Assembly. There, I led the fight to increase the minimum wage. I stood up to countless Republican attacks on women's health. And I worked day in and day out to invest in our classrooms so our kids have opportunities to succeed and find good jobs right here. I'm Alma Adams and I've never stopped fighting for this community, and now I'm asking you to fight for me. On Tuesday May 6, I'm asking for your vote for Congress, and every vote matters. I’m Alma Adams, I'm running for Congress and I absolutely approve this message, because we need a fighter in Congress and that's exactly what I'll be.
