KONSTANTIN: I’ve had those individual experiences of racism. With someone hurling out a racial epithet, where I’ve been profiled by the police. What is more troubling for me is as a parent how racism –systemic racism—can affect them. The way that our young men of color are disciplined, much more extreme, higher rates than their white counterparts. One thing that’s exciting about HRC is first, she just called out that we have a problem with systemic racism in this country. When you look at some of her policy on propositions we’re talking about, you know, a billion dollars going to retrain police forces so that they know how to deal more effectively in the communities that they serve. So that those communities can also then respect those police officers. I cosign Hillary Clinton because she not only talks about making a stronger together, but she actually gets behind with actual real policy, real dollars, and making us be the country that we can truly be.
