JOSEPH GOODWIN: I first met Niki when I was serving in Afghanistan, and she came over on a congressional fact-finding mission.

JIM CLARK: She has a real feel for what military life is like.

BRIAN HART: The last call we received from our son was for better equipment. Niki obtained special appropriations for lightweight body armor.

SAM POULTEN: These are the things that Niki excels at.

GOODWIN: Niki worked to expand the GI Bill, where now I can feel free to go to law school without being burdened down by debt.
