ANNOUNCER: We all know the Richardson/Denish administration made pay-to-play a household term. But what did Diane Denish know? A Democrat senator said Denish was either complicit or complacent in the culture of corruption. Now, another scandal. Turns out Diane Denish had a financial interest in a wealthy corporation that got a state tax deal worth $500 million. Press now reports the developer paid Denish’s husband to lobby her administration. While Diane Denish profited, she pushed the taxpayer-funded development plan. Called it “a model for the country.” So how much was Mr. Denish paid, while Mrs. Denish’s administration gave special deals with our tax money? Diane Denish refuses to say. We know the developer got rich. We know Denish got paid. The only question now, is how much.
