TSONGAS: My father survived Pearl Harbor, so I know nothing is more important than protecting our troops. That's why I wrote a bill to fund lightweight body armor to give our soldiers greater protection. And I fought to strengthen the military sexual assault policies so female soldiers can seek justice and be treated with respect.
