SCREEN TEXT: What Jonathan Paton thinks of Ann Kirkpatrick's 7 bills that were signed into law (Casa Grande debate - Oct. 4, 2012).

PATON: …have a handful of bills - seven bills - that are not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.

SCREEN TEXT: Not that big of a deal? Tell that to Veterans and Native American in CDI. Here are some of Ann's bills that became law:
HR1513 - allowed disabled veterans and their families to keep up with the cost of basic needs like food and housing (passed as S407)
HR3553 - ensured that veterans' income benefits could no longer disqualify Navajo People from housing assistance.
HR1762 - lifted the Bennett Freeze, bringing electricity and infrastructure to Western Navajo (passed as S39)
HR1065 - brought running water to Ann's hometown of Whiteriver (passed as HR4783)
