TSONGAS: I'm Niki Tsongas, and growing up in a military family taught me what's really important. That's why I led the fight to get lightweight body armor for our troops in the field, and why I helped expand health care benefits for our veterans. And is why I haven't taken any pay raises, and I’m working to cut congressional pay by 5 percent. I approve this message, because protecting our troops and veterans should come before congressional pay raises.
