GARCIA: I've always fought to help people. That's why I became a social worker right after college.

WOMAN: Helping seniors get their health care and working with families, Sylvia Garcia saw that more needed to be done. That's why as County Commissioner Sylvia fought to open seven health clinics in a pediatric care center and provide veterans transportation to doctor's appointments. And Sylvia protected jobs at the port to strengthen our local economy.

GARCIA: In Austin, I will stand up to Governor Perry and fight for every Texan.
